Allsteel introduces a "better" height adjustable worksurface

Allsteel has added an elegantly simple height adjustable worksurface to its award wining Stride product line.

Operated by a simple pneumatic lift that raises and lowers the desk surface, users can easily adjust the surface height from a common sitting height of 26 to 32 inches, to a standing height of  40 to 46 inches. The worksurface mounts directly to the panel frame, requires no electricity, and unlike other adjustable desk systems, there are no obtrusive mechanics, freeing the space beneath the worksurface for storage, footroom, and a greater range of motion.

The surface is designed for use with a range of worksurfaces sizes, and conforms to the BIFMA GI-2002 Ergonomic Guidelines and can withstand a total load of 250 lbs. in a fixed position.
