Think the recession has impacted everyone equally? Guess again -- portfolio.com conducted a survey that looked at the relative affluence of all 420 cities, towns, and unincorporated urban areas in the nation with more than 75,000 residents, and the results are a bit surprising.
- Surprise #1 is that Northern California has 6 cities in the top 20
- Surprise #2 is that Pleasanton California comes in as the 3rd most affluent city in the nation
